Do you systematically analyze your inventory data?
As all inventories are stored in the OMS, the data can be systematically analyzed. This improves customer services and optimizes processes – contributing to increased business efficiency. If, for example, stocks of an item are too high in one store and too low in another, goods can be re-located based on data held in the OMS. Retailers can launch marketing campaigns in a region to boost sales and minimize markdowns. They can also ask customers to return items to a specific store where stocks are low: this avoids the expense of sending items back to a central warehouse and also gets the items back into the sales chain more rapidly.
